Macy School Closure -11/5/26 Instant Delivery
Posted Date: 11/05/26 (08:02 AM)
Dear Macy Elementary Families,
Due to an emergency water line disruption affecting the Macy Elementary campus, Suburban Water Systems has notified us that it will shut off water service to the school today from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Because the campus will have no running water and restrooms will be unavailable, we have made the difficult decision to close school for the day to keep our students safe.
We apologize for the disruption this may cause for your family, especially on short notice. Today’s closure will have no impact on student attendance.
We expect school to resume tomorrow on its regular schedule, provided water service is restored as planned. We’ll notify families if the timeline changes or we have any updates.
Thank you for your understanding,
Rhonda Overby, Ed.D
